The Wedding of Nick and Chris

We met Chris and Nick back in October 2024 on our wedding open day! After having some meetings with them we knew this wedding was just going to be full of fun and laughter, from having the perfect matching suits to tasty chocolate foundation at night, we also knew it was going to barking mad when we found out we had 11 dogs in the ceremony. We were also lucky enough to have Stanley the dog join us for each meeting we had. 

When we asked Chris and Nick why they decided to choose us they said: —--

Thanks so much again to everyone involved in making our wedding day so special. All the staff are a credit to the place and everyone’s enthusiasm, professionalism and hard work shone through. 

The day couldn’t really have gone any better from our point of view in terms of timings, organisation etc. I’m sure you could tell we were both nervous in the lead up but we both thoroughly enjoyed every part of the day. 

Thanks personally to Olivia for having everything in hand on the day and in the meetings beforehand with your guidance and suggestions. 

Vikki and Mark having done weddings at the Lawrence previously made a big difference too. 

Lots of our guests have also commented on how much they enjoyed the day and what a great venue it is. The buffet and canapés were great too. 

Would have no hesitation recommending the Lawrence to anyone for their wedding or other events. 

They chose the lovely colour of sage green and had some beautiful floral decorations to make the room pop, also went with the traditional style buffet so all guests could have their favorites to choose from. 

As they had family traveling from all over even including Nick's sister who came all the way from Australia, so wish having such a lovely large wedding party chris and nick made full use of our accommodation, they had all 14 bedrooms, also the house which sleeps 9 people and our 3 bed cottage which sleeps 6 so there was plenty of space for everyone to travel and stay. 

It was a joy to host such a beautiful celebration. Congratulations again to Chris, Nick, and of course, Stanley!
