FAQs

What will be the running order of the day?

​

Our suggested running would be

​

1pm - Time for arrival for invite

1.30pm - Ceremony

2pm -2.30pm  Photos

2.30pm -3pm Arrival drinks/seat guest

3pm -5pm Wedding breakfast

5pm-5.30pm Speeches 

5.30pm-7.00pm Drinks while room is turned around

7.00pm Evening guests arrive 

7.30pm First dance and cake cut

8.30pm Evening food

11.30pm/12am Bar closes.

What room types do you have?

​

We have 14 rooms split as follows (all our rooms are Double/King or Super King)

​

Room 2 AYA Duplex Suite 

Room 1 Signature (Gawthorpe Room) Super king bed with bath tub in room

Room 3 Signature (Pearson Room) King bed

Superior 5/7

Family Room 19 (1 king bed and 1 double)

Family Room 20 (1double and 1 single bed)

Snug 4/6/8/13/14/21/22

*13/14 are ground floor rooms and 22 is a the bigger snug, extra beds can be put into 2/3/5/7/14/19/20/22  (extra beds are £20 each)

What is the Deposit?

​

To reserve your date we will take a 25% deposit, 6 months later 25% will be due, with the remainder split into  two payments 6 months before your day and the last 25% 30 days before. If the wedding is within 12 months we take 1/3 deposit, 1/3 half way mark and the final 1/3 30 days before.

Are we allowed confetti?

​

Yes, biodegradable outside & no confetti inside sorry.

​

Can we set up the night before?

​

If we don't have a function you can get access from 10pm after the restaurant closes. However you can book the function room the night before if you need the day before to set up. 

​

Q. What time rooms are available for check in, on the day of the wedding?


Check in is usually 3pm however on the wedding day we can allow guests to book an early check in from 12pm for £20, we offer a complimentary bag drop from 10am.

Q. What time will the suite be available to us?


The suite will be available from 3pm the day of your wedding and an early check in can be arranged from 12pm for £20

​

Q. Is there a children's menu for breakfast?


Our menu choices are the same for both adults & children, however a child's breakfast is a smaller portion & half the price

​

Q. Do we cater for all dietary requirements?


Yes. We do ask that all dietary requirements are sent to us 14 days prior to the event via email

​

Q. What time is check out?


Check out is 11am unless prior arrangements have been made with our wedding coordinator

 

Q. Is there parking on site?

​

Yes. We have a limited number of spaces located on North Street. There is also a free carpark & plenty of street parking close-by 
 

Can i have a band ?

​

Yes but with us being in a residential area we can't allow bass drums and the live music needs to finish by 11pm and then recorded till midnight.

​

How many rooms must I take?

​

A minimum of 8 rooms is required on any wedding date booked where you wish to have any form of entertainment including any Acts, Dj's & Bands.

You must take all 13 rooms if your selected wedding date falls on a saturday.

If you do not take any rooms no evening entertainment can be booked on your chosen date.
