For this lovely couple, their journey began nearly eight years ago at Tulketh Mill in Preston, where working together every day soon blossomed into a friendship and, eventually, a beautiful relationship.

We caught up with the happy couple to hear all about their love story, their romantic proposal and their unforgettable twilight wedding at The Lawrence Hotel!

A Love Story That Started at Work

Their story began at Tulketh Mill in Preston, where they first met almost eight years ago. After spending so much time together as colleagues, a lovely friendship developed, which eventually turned into something more.

And the proposal? It couldn't have been more special!

He popped the question at Guys Thatched Hamlet in Garstang, a place that holds a special place in their hearts as it was the location of one of their very first dates. A beautiful way to bring their story full circle!

Why The Lawrence Hotel?

It was actually the bride's mum who first spotted The Lawrence Hotel on Facebook while looking at our twilight wedding offering.

Intrigued, the couple decided to come along for a viewing, and it didn't take long for them to fall in love with the venue.

From the moment they met Olivia and explored the hotel, they knew it was somewhere special. They loved its quirky character, warm atmosphere and everything that makes The Lawrence Hotel so unique. It was everything they had hoped for and more!

When we asked what their favourite part of the day was, they found it almost impossible to choose!

The whole day was amazing, but the speeches were definitely a standout moment. Filled with so much love, laughter and heartfelt words, they created memories that will stay with them forever.

And, of course, we couldn't forget the food – a definite 10/10!
