Gary & Katie’s Perfect Day at The Lawrence

When Gary and Katie chose The Lawrence in Padiham for their wedding, we knew their day would be something special and it truly was.

From the moment they walked through our doors, they brought a clear vision: a relaxed, intimate celebration that felt completely their own. With our blend of rustic charm, natural wood tones, fairy lights, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we were thrilled to help bring their dream to life.

The couple described their day as “everything we hoped for and more” a sentiment that means the world to us.

They opted for an elegant afternoon tea for their wedding breakfast, and it couldn’t have suited the mood more perfectly. Every plate looked stunning and tasted even better but what stood out most was a beautiful moment of care and attention. Gary mentioned in her meeting that she can’t stand cucumber and our team quietly made sure his plate arrived cucumber-free. It’s the little things that matter.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Olivia, who Gary and Katie called “a superstar.” Her calm, kind, and capable approach meant everything ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed, a quality we pride ourselves on. Her ability to take the pressure off and let couples simply enjoy the moment is what makes her such a valued part of our team.

The ceremony space looked stunning, the atmosphere stayed beautifully relaxed, and most importantly, the entire day felt like Gary and Katie. That’s always our goal at The Lawrence to make every wedding feel unique, personal, and completely right for the couple at the heart of it.
